Correlation effects obtained from optical spectra of Fe-pnictides using an extended Drude-Lorentz model analysis

چکیده
We introduce an analysis model, extended Drude–Lorentz and apply it to Fe-pnictide systems extract their electron–boson spectral density functions (or correlation spectra). The model consists of Drude mode for describing correlated charge carriers Lorentz modes interband transitions. can be obtained by a reverse process starting from the function extending optical self-energy and, eventually, conductivity. Using we K-doped BaFe2As2 (Ba-122) at four different doping levels. discuss doping-dependent properties Ba-122. also include pseudogap effects in using this approach. Therefore, approach is very helpful understanding analyzing measured spectra strongly electron systems, including high-temperature superconductors (cuprates Fe-pnictides).

Correlation effects in the iron pnictides
One of the central questions about the iron pnictides concerns the extent to which their electrons are strongly correlated. Here we address this issue through the phenomenology of the charge transport and dynamics, single-electron excitation spectrum, and magnetic ordering and dynamics. We outline the evidence that the parent compounds, while metallic, have electron interactions that are suffic...
متن کاملOptical activity in the Drude helix model
An old classical one-particle helix model for optical activity, first proposed by Drude, is reconsidered here. The quantum Drude model is very instructive because the optical activity can be calculated analytically without further approximations apart from the Rosenfeld long wavelength approximation. While it was generally believed that this model, when treated correctly, is optically inactive,...
متن کاملPhase Spectra Obtained From
We present and discuss the rst \space based" k ? ! phase diierence spectra between velocity and intensity perturbations in the solar atmosphere. The phase spectra, the view of which is truly bewildering, provide unique information about the dynamics and character of the observed wave elds. The data used in this study were obtained by the Michelson Doppler Imager (MDI) on board SOHO in March 199...
متن کاملOptical Flow Estimation with Prior Models Obtained from Phase Correlation
Motion estimation is one of the most important tasks in computer vision. One popular technique for computing dense motion fields consists in defining a large enough set of candidate motion vectors, and assigning one of such vectors to each pixel, so that a given cost function is minimized. In this work we propose a novel method for finding a small set of adequate candidates, making the minimiza...
